Rajganj, 22nd December: A meeting was organised by the Mahila Trinamool Congress in Belakoba on Monday to discuss the party’s ‘Unnayaner Panchali’ programme. The meeting was held at the Devi Chaudhurani auditorium in Belakoba.
Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy was present at the meeting along with Jalpaiguri district Youth Trinamool Congress president Ram Mohan Roy, Rajganj Block Trinamool Congress president Arindam Banerjee, Rajganj Block Mahila Trinamool Congress president Sarbani Dhara Roy, Archana Roy, Uttara Barman and several other party leaders and workers.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on how to take the ‘Unnayaner Panchali’ campaign to a wider section of the public. Speakers highlighted various development projects and welfare schemes implemented by the state government.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajganj Block Mahila Trinamool Congress president Sarbani Dhara Roy said that the Trinamool Congress has prepared ‘Unnayaner Panchali’ by compiling a comprehensive account of the development achieved in the state over the past 15 years.
She added that the chariot campaign under the programme has already begun and aims to present the government’s development record directly to the people.
