Madhyamik examinee falls sick during examination, takes exam in hospital in Rajganj

Siliguri, 06th January: Madhyamik examinee, Taposhi Roy, wrote her papers from the hospital after she was reported sick during the examination.


According to reports, the Madhyamik examination for the Geography papers was scheduled for Tuesday. Taposhi Roy, a student of the P.N.R. High School, had arrived at the Kebolpara High School in Belakoba under Rajganj block, to appear for her examination when her health began to deteriorate. Reportedly, the candidate was experiencing difficulty in breathing. As a result, she was immediately transported to the Belakoba Rural Hospital by ambulance.

During her treatment, Taposhi was provided with supplemental oxygen. Following preliminary treatment, the candidate wrote her papers from the hospital. Taposhi was arranged with a special invigilator at the hospital. In this regard, invigilator, Manoj Kumar Roy, stated that Taposhi was admitted to the hospital due to her deteriorating health and was currently in stable condition. In addition, she was provided with 10 minutes extra time to complete her papers. Meanwhile, upon receiving the news, the candidate’s mother immediately arrived at the hospital.
