Kharibari, 21st June: An incident involving a brick-laden lorry resulted in a significant power outage in the area after it collided with an electricity pole on Friday.
According to reports, the lorry, transporting bricks from Bihar towards Ambari, lost control and struck a power pole along the roadside. The impact led to the disruption of electricity services across the entire locality. Following the incident, the lorry driver fled the scene.
Local authorities promptly responded, with police arriving at the site to manage the situation. The brick-laden lorry was impounded for further investigation. Meanwhile, personnel from the electricity department were deployed to the scene to initiate restoration efforts and normalize power supply in the affected area.
