Siliguri, 16th July: The Lions Club of Siliguri Unity held its ninth installation at its district headquarters, earlier on Sunday. The occasion witnessed the presence of the District Governors (DG) team including Chief Guest Lion Suresh Sinhal DG, Honorary Guest Lion Suresh Agarwal, Zone Chairperson Lion Sachin Goyal, Installation Officer Lion Srawan Choudhary, Lion Vikram Kandoi the President of Lions Club Anmol. The DG team found the installation program to be quite successful.
The Lions Club Siliguri made many donations, including Rs 11,000 to the Lions Club Anmol Dialysis Centre and the Siliguri Terai for carrying out eleven cataract procedures, all in the spirit of the noble idea that service should be a significant part of fellowship. Furthermore, the District Project Prasadam was well-sponsored and organized. Additional goals include providing three sewing machines to a Dooars Club in support of their permanent project.
