Siliguri, 17th December: The members of Lions Club of Siliguri Roar held a press conference in Siliguri Journalists Club on Friday and stated that they will organize a marathon on December 19 in Siliguri.
Sandeep Agarwal, president of Lions Club of Siliguri Roar, said that the marathon will start from PVR Tower, Sevoke Road at 6 am and will conclude at the same place after crossing Panitanki more, Bidhan Road, and Venus more. There are two different groups for males and females. The first prize is Rs 11,000, second prize Rs 5,100 and third prize Rs 3,100 as well as trophies. The main purpose of this marathon is to make Siliguri a drug-free city.
Indian women cricketer Richa Ghosh will be present as the chief guest at the programme.
