Rajganj, 07th November: Final touches are being added at various river ghats in preparation for Chhath Puja. The Mahananda Barrage ghat in Fulbari, near Siliguri, and the Sahu River ghat in Krishnanagar Colony of Binnaguri Gram Panchayat in Rajganj have been bustling with activity since early Thursday.
Organizers shared that efforts to decorate the Chhath ghats with banana trees and flowers began at night, with full support from the Gram Panchayat and local administration. This afternoon and on Friday morning, devotees will gather at these ghats to perform the rituals of Chhath Puja.
