Siliguri, 03rd August: The Kamtapuri Progressive Party (KPP) submitted a memorandum to the SDO through a rally today in support of the 14-point demand. The members of KPP took out a mass rally from Siliguri Mahatma Gandhi More and reached the SDO’s office through the main roads of the city.
KPP Vice-President Budharu Roy said that their demand for a separate has been going on for a very long time. Apart from the said plea, the memorandum was submitted today in support of 14-point demands. He further added that if their demands are not met then they will stage a larger demonstration and block the national highways and stop the rails.
