Kharibari, 04th November: Kharibari Block Development Officer (BDO) Dipti Shaw conducted an inspection of Chhath Puja preparations and security arrangements at the India-Nepal border.
On Monday, BDO Shaw, along with officials from the Kharibari police station and members of the Chhath Puja committee, visited the Chhath Ghat located at Panitanki on the India-Nepal border in Kharibari.
BDO Dipti Shaw stated that the inspection was carried out to assess Chhath Puja preparations, as a large crowd is expected at this Chhath Ghat. Given its location in a border area, discussions will also be held with SSB Personnel (Border Force) to ensure security during the event.
