Siliguri, 08th November: On the 53rd year of Kali Puja celebrations, the Siliguri Sanghati Club of Purba Vivekananda Pally is preparing a puja pandal that will illustrate the conceptual theme of “Purusher Dayebodyota o Baitha” (Men’s responsibilities and pain).
According to reports, the club is constructing a puja mandap this year while focusing on a theme prioritizing the men in society. The theme is anticipated to highlight men’s obligations to their families, their job concerns, and their despair, joy, happiness, and pride. Aside from this, the idol and lighting are expected to be particularly appealing.
In this context, the Secretary of the Puja Committee Sujan Saha, explained how the men’s responsibilities to their spouse, kids, parents, and their joys and sorrows would be exhibited through the pandal. He further expressed that Goddess ‘Shyama’ will be displayed as an ordinary homemaker. The pandal will be inaugurated on November 12.
