Siliguri, 30th October: BJP has suffered a major setback in West Bengal. Jaideep Nandi, the party’s Darjeeling District Vice President, resigned from his post and rejoined his former party, Trinamool Congress, on Saturday. Apart from this, some other BJP leaders and workers also joined Trinamool today.
Nandi joined the TMC at the party’s Darjeeling district office. After joining Trinamool, Jaideep Nandi said that despite being in BJP for two years, he could not adopt its methodology. Hence, he rejoined the Trinamool.
