Rajganj, 25th April: In an inspiring news of determination, a duo from Jalpaiguri has embarked on an extraordinary journey to Kedarnath by skating despite the scorching heat. The two young men are Ashish Samaddar, a resident of Chaulhati in Jalpaiguri, and Jagannath Roy, a resident of Purba Kumarpara in 73 More.
It has to be noted that earlier several individuals were witnessed embarking in an on-foot journey to Kedarnath. In a similar approach, Ashish and Jagannath had left Jalpaiguri on their skater shoes for Kedarnath despite the intense heat. On Thursday morning at around 10:00 AM, made their way to Rajganj, with plans to cover about 100 kilometers every day. Reportedly, a friend of the duo would be joining them in the journey from Siliguri.
On this day, the duo expressed their prolonged wish to visit Kedarnath by skating. Finally they seized the opportunity and embarked on the journey with the goal of covering 100 km every day. As a result of the determination, Ashish and Jagannath were able to prevent the heat from acting as an obstacle in their journey. Additionally, several people have extended their helping hand for this journey.
