Jalpaiguri, 26th March: Shuvarthi Mahato, a third-year student of Jalpaiguri Ananda Chandra College, won gold medal in a national-level powerlifting competition.
She represented West Bengal in the National Powerlifting Competition held in Chhattisgarh. Competitors from almost all the states participated in the said competition. Shuvarthi’s Coach Basudev Das, family, friends, and neighbours are extremely with her achievement.
