Jalpaiguri, 06th February: Anisha Munda, a resident of Denguajhar Tea Estate in Jalpaiguri, dreams of becoming a successful footballer while continuing her studies. However, financial constraints threaten to shatter her aspirations.
A student of standard 10, Anisha has reportedly not been able to afford her textbooks for the new academic session. Her school bag is torn, and despite moving to a new class, she has yet to start attending school.
Her football practice, too, is gradually coming to a halt due to a lack of resources. For months, Anisha has been practicing barefoot on the tea garden grounds, but she cannot participate in tournaments without proper shoes, jerseys, and a football, all of which she cannot afford.
Despite the challenges, Anisha remains determined. Her mother, Ranjita Munda, refuses to let her daughter’s dream die and has appealed for help from kind-hearted individuals.
Meanwhile, coach Amit Roy believes that Anisha has the potential to achieve great heights in football if given proper support. He urged people to come forward and help her continue her journey toward becoming a successful footballer.
