Jalpaiguri, 14th August: Krishna Roy Barman has assumed the role of the newly elected Sabhadhipati of Jalpaiguri Zilla Parishad, while Seema Chowdhury has taken up the position of Saha-Sabhadhipati. The Trinamool Congress secured an impressive victory by winning all 24 seats in the Jalpaiguri Zilla Parishad, sparking widespread speculation about the individuals who would assume the key positions.
In a significant announcement, the names of these elected officials were unveiled during a formal event held in the presence of Goutam Deb, the Mayor of Siliguri, at the meeting hall of the Zilla Parishad. Subsequently, the newly victorious members took their oaths in a solemn ceremony held in the auditorium.
