Jalpaiguri, 14th February: The 155th birth anniversary of Manishi Thakur Panchanan Barma was celebrated on behalf of the Jalpaiguri Rajbanshi society in Jalpaiguri.
Lawyer Ajit Barman garlanded the statue of Thakur Panchanan Barma, located in Jalpaiguri’s Samajpara and paid their tributes, today. President of Manishi Panchanan Barma Memorial Association Vijay Chandra Barman, Secretary Nirmalendu Roy, Social Workers Krishna Kumar Kalyani, Purnaprabha Barman, Ajit Barman, Bablu Roy, Krishnendu Roy, Tapan Bhattacharya, Sabindranath Roy and many other dignitaries were present during the event.
