Jalpaiguri, 22nd May: Jalpaiguri municipality has decided to vaccinate the super spreaders, amid the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the state. Reportedly, a high level meeting was held this afternoon at the municipality.
The vaccination drive will mainly focus on the retailers selling fish, meat and vegetables as they come in close contact with many people every day. To get vaccinated, one has to submit a specified form, Aadhaar card and phone number and contact their respective Ward Coordinator.
The said information was given by member of the Municipal Administration Sandeep Mahato after the meeting. Other officers and coordinator of the municipality were present in the meeting.
