Siliguri, 15th January: The ‘Didi Suraksha Kavach’ program has started across the state. Under this programme, CM Mamata Banerjee’s supporters are reaching various rural areas. In this sequence, Jalpaiguri District Trinamool Congress District President Mahua Gope along with local leaders reached Porajhar of Fulbari. During this, she talked to the common people about the benefits of various projects of the state government.
On the other hand, seeing the district president, the local residents expressed anger. The local people said that they are not getting any benefit from the said CM’s projects, not only that they are also deprived of drinking water, proper roads, and many more essential requirements.
After talking to the locals, the District President Mahua Gope also agreed that still several villagers and residents are deprived of various government services. However, the local Panchayat Niranjan Sarkar said that the common people are getting the full benefits of the project but, there are some who are deprived of all the said services.
