Jalpaiguri District Police hosts ‘Bijayini’ program at Belakoba Girls High School

Rajganj, 07th September: The Jalpaiguri District Police, in collaboration with the Belakoba Police Outpost, organized the ‘Bijayini’ program for schoolgirls at Belakoba Girls High School. The three-day program, which started on September 4th, concluded today.


The closing day saw the presence of Additional Superintendent of Police Shoubhanik Mukhopadhyay, Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, DSP Sherap Dorjee Lepcha, Rajganj IC Anupam Mazumder, Belakoba Outpost OC KT Lepcha, Panchayat Samiti President Rupali Dey Sarkar, and school teachers.

The Bijayini program aims to raise awareness among schoolgirls on critical issues such as women trafficking and cyber crime, while also teaching self-defense techniques to protect themselves from danger. The initiative has been widely praised by both teachers and students.
