Siliguri, 08th December: The Chief Judicial Magistrate of Jalpaiguri District Court has considered the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) petition for conducting a fresh post-mortem of Ulen Roy in the presence of 3 doctors with full video recording.
“Today, we have won the first victory in our quest for justice for the family members of our dear brother Ulen Roy Ji,” Darjeeling MP Raju Bista took to his social platform.
“All those involved in killing of innocent citizens need to be aware that we will not tolerate such cold-blooded murders to go unpunished,” Bista further added
In addition to this, the Jalpaiguri District Court has further ordered the West Bengal Police to submit a compliance report by the 11th of December, 2020.
Meanwhile, the West Bengal Police on their social media page wrote, “Police showed restraint and didn’t do lathicharge or used fire arms. Only water cannons and tear gas were used to disperse the violent crowd. However, death of a person has been reported. Body is being sent for PM (post-mortem). The actual cause of death will be known only after the PM.”
