Rajganj, 23rd March: The forest workers of the Belakoba Range Office rescued an injured deer from the Bhandaguri Banbasty area of Rajganj today.
As per the report, the locals spotted the deer in the Bhandiguri area of Rajganj block, this morning and immediately informed the Belakoba Range. Upon receiving the news, the forest workers reached the spot and rescued the animal.
Belakoba Range Officer Sanjay Dutta stated that the injured animal has been rescued and sent to Siliguri’s Bengal Safari. The animal would be released into the woods after treatment.
