IndiGo flight services resume normal operations at Bagdogra Airport after week-long disruption

Siliguri, 10th December: After a week of disruption due to staff shortage, IndiGo flight operations at Bagdogra Airport have finally returned to normal, bringing relief to hundreds of passengers. Flights are now operating as per their scheduled arrival and departure timings.


Passenger services had remained severely affected over the past week due to an acute manpower crisis within the airline, causing significant inconvenience to travellers. However, normal services resumed from Wednesday.

Addressing a press conference, Bagdogra Airport Director Naveed Nazim stated that a total of 38 IndiGo flights were cancelled during the disruption due to the staff shortage. He added that multiple measures were taken to minimise distress to passengers during this period.


With flight operations now stabilised, passengers expressed relief and satisfaction over the return to normal services.
