Siliguri, 06th September: The e-payment gateway SJDA was inaugurated at the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri Development Department office today. The service was formally inaugurated by SJDA Chairperson Saurabh Chakraborty, Vice Chairperson Dilip Dugar, SJDA members Gautam Goswami, Kajal Ghosh, Ranjan Sheel Sharma, and other officials.
Reportedly, the citizens had to visit the SJDA office to deposit fees on various matters including land tax, license, and license fees. However, now the payment can be easily done as they can pay it from home through various online payment apps and debit cards. The completely paperless work will be done in a secure manner. Along with this, a help desk was also launched for the common people today.
In this regard, SJDA Chairperson Saurabh Chakraborty said that the digital SJDA service has commenced today. For the first time, all the people will be given service through an e-payment medium. People can deposit money through various apps sitting at home. All information and data online will be kept safe and secure.
