Bijanbari, 09th April: Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (Bimal Faction) candidate P. T. Ola who will be contesting from the Darjeeling assembly constituency, carried out an election campaign in Chungthung Meri Bong Tamsang constituency since this morning.
Addressing a ‘path sabha’ in the area, he said, “Every place that I have visited, I hear crowds of supporters cry out ‘Bimal Gurung Zindabad’ and ‘P.T. Ola Zindabad’.” He stated that he is receiving a good response from the people.
The gathering was also addressed by GJM Central Vice President R. P. Waiba, Sub-Divisional Secretary Sharan Lama, Bidan Rai and Branch President Saran Gurung. A large number of supporters were present in the meeting.
