Rajganj, 19th February: Hundreds of workers of the Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) of the Bhadreswar Tea Garden of Rajganj left the labor organization of SUCI and joined the Trinamool Congress Workers’ Organization, Terai Dooars Plantation Workers’ Union (TDPWU).
The Associate Secretary of the Central Committee of the organization, Tapan Dey, handed over the flag and welcomed everyone to the organization, during a program at the Bhadreswar Tea Garden. Dey further stated that the workers had been longing to join them and had also presented a letter, in this regard, a few days back.
He also said that the problems, being faced by the workers, will be resolved soon. Also, a Unit Committee was formed, today, in the Tea garden. Gautam Biswas was elected as the Chairman of the Committee while Divejan Roy was elected as the Secretary.
