Fulbari, 15th April: In a recent political development, hundreds of workers including Independent Panchayat members have extensively joined Trinamool Congress (TMC) in Fulbari.
Reportedly, on Sunday night, a ‘Yogdan Sabha’ was organised at Jotiakali area under Fulbari II Gram Panchayat where about 500 individuals along with Independent Panchayat member Shapiur Rahman extended support to the Dabgram-Fulbari block TMC President Debashish Pramanik.
In this regard, Debashish Pramanik stated that as the party candidates did not received tickets in the previous Panchayat elections, they contested as Independent candidates and had won the elections. He further stated that the addition has further strengthened the position of the party in the area ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
