Bagdogra, 10th April: A huge tree fell on the Bagdogra-Panighata state highway due to heavy rain since Wednesday night, disrupting traffic movement. The closure of this important road caused inconvenience to many people since morning.
Locals promptly began efforts to remove the fallen tree from the road. Later, personnel from the Bagdogra Forest Department arrived at the scene, cut the tree, and cleared the road, restoring normal traffic flow.
