Islampur, 18th February: Henna Nihar, a resident of Solpara in Goalpokhar-I block won a gold medal in a kickboxing competition held in Dubai and will now play in Thailand. Henna Nihar returned home after winning a gold medal, on Tuesday. An atmosphere of joy has engulfed her house in Solpara of Goalpokhar-I block after her victory.
Henna’s father Akhtar Alam stated that Henna will be traveling to Thailand to participate in the International-level kickboxing competition on March 4. Henna dreams of participating in the Olympics. Henna’s coach will train her separately to fulfill her dream. In this context, MLA Ghulam Rabbani stated that he will visit Henna, on Thursday, and will wish her good luck.
