Rajganj, 21st March: Five men from Rajganj stepped forward to help a needy family.
It is to recall, Ajit Roy from Baniapara Rajganj lost his life on March 05 while returning from work. Roy, who was a day labourer, left behind his wife, their two daughters and his elderly mother. He was the only breadwinner of the family. After his death, the whole family is struggling and desperately pleaded for help.
After the news was covered in Siliguri Times, five men namely Tanmoy Modak, Mrigank Jha, Pradeep Kumar Barman, Gulzar Mohammad, and Sanjay Modak from Rajganj extended a helping hand towards the family and handed over ration to them. More such initiatives will be taken in the coming days.
