Siliguri, 07th September: Parts of Siliguri, including Hakimpara and Haiderpara, were submerged in water after heavy rainfall lashed over the city since last night.
Waterlogged localities and pedestrians wading through knee-deep water on the road adjacent to Haiderpara Bazaar were witnessed since this morning. Locals blamed the dilapidated drainage system for the scenario.
