Handful of visitors spotted at parks and gardens in Siliguri

Siliguri, 05th May: The second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic has reduced the number of visitors in government parks. A few days ago, the state government issued a directive to close the state’s sanctuaries and national parks.

As of now, government parks and gardens have been kept open in compliance with all regulations. However, a handful of visitors are spotted every day. Nevertheless, regular sanitation has been arranged to curb the spread of the virus. Authorities are monitoring to ensure everyone enters the park premises wearing masks.

The scenario in Siliguri Park near Dabgram is also the same. Every day, the children’s play equipments are being sanitized. On the other hand, the condition of every government park and garden across North Bengal is the same.
