Cooch Behar, 12th February: Sensation prevailed in Cooch Behar’s court premises after the recovery of a live grenade inside a packet of cannabis.
Reportedly, on February 7, during the cleaning of the godown, a grenade was found in a packet of cannabis. Being an army grenade, it was reported to Binnaguri Army Cantonment. Army officers and jawans reached the spot on Sunday morning and defused the grenade.
Meanwhile, a panic ensued with the question of how the grenade used by the army was found in packets of cannabis.
