Naxalbari, 28th June: The Land Revenue Department has commenced efforts to reclaim government land in Naxalbari following directives from the Chief Minister. The initiative aims to identify and acquire plots across the block that have been encroached upon.
According to reports, the initial phase of the operation involves acquiring 2.47 acres of land located in Dakshin Bagdogra in Naxalbari. Currently, the government land is being identified and the government board will be installed in the upcoming days.
The work has commenced following the instructions of the Chief Minister. The officials of the Land Revenue Department mentioned strict measures to be taken to prevent encroachment of government land.
