Siliguri, 19th May: Goutam Deb, Chairman of the BoA at Siliguri Municipal Corporation, held a meeting with various voluntary organizations regarding the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the city.
He heard out the problems of the organizations and decided that all animal lovers and voluntary organizations will be given a pass by SMC, with the help of which, they will be able to continue their work during the lockdown.
In the second phase, Goutam Deb also held a meeting with the administrative officials including the oxygen-producing companies.
Deb claimed that SMC is focusing on ensuring that people get all the medicines for COVID treatment including oxygen at a fair price and in sufficient quantity.
