Siliguri, 25th January: Along with the entire country, preparations, for the Saraswati Puja, are in full swing in Siliguri as well. Statues of Goddess Saraswati has arrived in various markets of Siliguri.
Since only a few days are left for the Saraswati Puja, crowds of people are being witnessed in the markets to buy the statues of Goddess Saraswati.
But, the statue of Goddess Saraswati taking a selfie in Bidhan Market has become the center of attraction. The Goddess was seen carrying a mobile phone and taking a selfie, rather than carrying a Veena.
According to the information received, a period of 2-3 months and a cost of Rs 3000 was taken to sculpt the statue.
