Darjeeling, 12th March: The Gorkha National Liberation Front’s (GNLF) Jan Chetna Sangarsh Samiti today submitted a memorandum to the Darjeeling District Hospital, Darjeeling District Officer, Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) Secretary, Darjeeling District SP regarding the Coronavirus horror that has currently terrorized the entire world.
The memorandum demanded that necessary steps should be taken by the officials to combat the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Hills. Also that the common people should be made aware of the virus and the preventive measures to be adopted for stopping the spread of the virus.
In addition, a representative team of the GNLF Jan Chetna Sangarsh Samiti inspected the coronavirus test at Darjeeling District Hospital under the leadership of Manjila Tamang, party sources said.
