Kurseong, 01st April: As the assembly elections draw nearer, candidates in various parts of the hills are electioneering more vigorously. Likewise, Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) Bimal faction candidate Norbu G Lama for the Kurseong assembly constituency, along with his supporters, visited Gidda Pahar and campaigned for the election on Thursday.
He was warmly welcomed by his party supporters and they wished him the victory. During electioneering, he visited, Drukpa Monastery to offer prayers and met the Lamas (spiritual gurus), and received blessings. He humbly approached people for their support.
