Giant catfish caught in the Mahananda River of Fulbari

Fulbari, 20^th July: A massive long-whiskered catfish weighing approximately 40 kilograms was caught in the Mahananda River near Fulbari on Saturday. The news of the capture of this gigantic fish quickly spread, drawing a crowd of villagers eager to catch a glimpse.

According to reports, Basiruddin Mohammad, a resident of Fulbari, regularly sets his fishing nets in the Mahananda River. Earlier in the morning, he discovered the enormous fish trapped in his net. Subsequently, the fish was taken to the local fish market in Fulbari and sold at a per-kilogram rate.
