Siliguri, 20th October: To boost tourism in the Darjeeling Hills, the Ghum Festival 2021 is going to be held in Darjeeling from November 13 to December 05. The festival will be organized by the North-East Frontier Railway.
A press conference was held at the Railway Electrification Department at NJP on Wednesday evening. General Manager of North Eastern Frontier Railway Ansul Gupta and Katihar Division DRM SK Chowdhury were present at the conference.
During the conference, the festival’s promo video, theme song and logo T-shirts were launched. According to the Railway Department, the festival has been organized to highlight Ghum and toy trains to the tourists.
