Siliguri, 21st October: The Balason Bridge in Matigara has been affected due to heavy rains. Heavy traffic movement has been suspended since Wednesday.
A four-member team from the Kolkata PWD Department inspected the Balasan Bridge on Thursday. They also held a meeting with the officials of the PWD Department in Siliguri and will submit the report on Friday. Following which, repair work will commence on behalf of the concerned department.
