Siliguri, 12th August: The Bhaktinagar police station under Siliguri Metropolitan Police successfully apprehended four individuals involved in two separate cases of theft. The arrested culprits have been identified as Surjit Chakraborty, Amit Prasad, Chandan Barman, and Gopal Das.
According to the information, instances of theft occurred within residences situated on ISKCON Road and Durga Nagar Colony. The miscreants managed to steal smartphones, ATM cards, electric wires, and various other valuable items from these homes. Prompt action was initiated after a formal written complaints regarding both these incidents were registered at the Bhaktinagar police station.
Launching a rigorous investigation into the matters, the police effectively apprehended all four offenders involved in these respective cases. Furthermore, the stolen items have also been successfully recovered from the possession of the perpetrators. Presently, the four accused individuals have been presented before the Jalpaiguri court.
