Foundation stone laid for second campus of Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya in Fulbari

Fulbari, 19th January: The foundation stone for the second campus of Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya was laid on Monday in the Sahudangi area of Fulbari I Gram Panchayat.


The ceremony was attended by Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb as the chief guest. Other dignitaries present included Dilip Dugar, Chairman of Siliguri-Jalpaiguri Development Authority, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, Sanjay Tibrewal, along with college authorities, students, and other prominent guests.

The new campus will be constructed on approximately 3 acres of land and the project will be completed in multiple phases. In the first phase, construction of the boundary wall will begin with an estimated cost of around Rs 1.5 crore. Subsequent phases will focus on other infrastructural and developmental works to complete the campus.
