Kaliaganj, 27th January: The work of expansion and conversion of the Raiganj-Balurghat 10A National Highway of Kaliaganj into a double lane commenced, today in the North Dinajpur district. The foundation stone for the construction of the road on behalf of the Kaliaganj Municipality was laid by the City Pradhan, Karthik Pal.
The said foundation stone laying program was organized in front of the Pranavananda School in Ward No. 17 of the city. During the event, Mentor Asim Ghosh of the District Council, City Finance Officer Chhotu Agarwal, the General Secretary of the Kaliaganj Vyavasayi Samiti Sunil Saha, Swapan Sarkar, Suresh Saraf, and many other dignitaries were present.
