Bagdogra, 24th February: Following the incident of the death of a Madhyamik candidate in an elephant attack in Gajaldoba, the Forest Department made arrangements to take the Madhyamik candidates to their examination centre safely.
Special security arrangements were made to ensure the safety of the students. Also, Bagdogra Range has closed the entry of the general public in the forest area during the examination period.
Ranger Samiran Raj told that the system will continue till the completion of not only Madhyamik but also the Higher Secondary examination. Meanwhile, the Madhyamik candidates are happy to receive such service from the Forest Department.
