Five specially-abled candidates sit for Madhyamik examinations in an attempt to achieve academic success in Rajganj

Rajganj, 02nd February: Five young women of the Bakuabari Home of Howrah South Point for differently-abled appear for the Madhyamik examinations at the Ambari Chintamohan High School of Rajganj.


According to reports, Ankita Munda, Shipra Oraon, Tapasi Roy, Shatabdi Soren, and Chittu Tudu are students of Harihar High School. The young women are all from different districts and have appeared for the exams along with other students without the extra time allotted for students with special needs. On Friday, the in-charge of Bakuabari Home, Dalia Dhara, took them to the center on the first day of the examination.

In this regard, Dalia Dhara stated that the five candidates are specially-abled. However, one of them has less than 40 percent disability and was not allotted extra time. As a result, the other four had decided to appear for the exams with the candidates without the extra time.
