Rajganj, 30th July: The Sadar West Area Committee handed over a five-point memorandum to the Block Health Officer of Jalpaiguri Sadar Block. Various demands including setting up a swab collection kiosk in every populated area were presented through the memorandum.
The organization claims that swab collection kiosks should be set up in every populated area to increase the number of swab tests. Adequate security must be ensured for all COVID-19 fighters. Region-based safe homes should also be created for COVID-19 patients.
Besides, demands such as adequate infrastructure at COVID Hospitals and Safe Home, diet list in compliance with hygiene rules, regular monitoring by health workers, continuous awareness campaigns, and sanitization in every residential area were addressed.
