Siliguri, 18th January: Sensation prevailed after a massive fire broke out early in the morning in a garage situated near a bike showroom in Burdwan road. The locals immediately informed the owner of the garage after which he called the fire brigade. Shortly after, the fire brigade reached the location and was able to extinguish the fire.
The owner of the garage alleged that someone had deliberately set fire. Several valuables were destroyed in the incident.
The Khalpara outpost police are now investigating the details of the matter.
