Farmer in Rajganj concerned about daughter’s education after her success in Madhyamik exam

Rajganj, 20th May: Overcoming financial constraints, Fultulsi Roy from Rajganj has achieved outstanding results in the secondary examination, securing 649 marks out of 700. With aspirations of becoming a doctor, Fultulsi’s dream faces uncertainty due to the family’s financial situation. Fultulsi, daughter of Sufal Chandra Roy from a village in Kukurjan Gram Panchayat under Rajganj block, attends Banizer Hat High School.


Sufal Chandra Roy, a farmer by profession, supports his family, including his son who is currently in college. Despite limited resources, Sufal dedicates his earnings towards his children’s education and the family’s expenses. Expressing her joy, Fultulsi Roy stated, “I am thrilled to pass with excellent marks. I have begun studying science, and my dream is to become a doctor. My father works tirelessly to provide for our education and sustain the family. If the government or any private organization extends assistance, I can fulfil my aspirations.”

Fultulsi’s parents expressed their happiness with their daughter’s achievement and shared their concerns about fulfilling her dreams. Given their livelihood depends on farming, they are uncertain about their ability to support Fultulsi’s ambitions. They expressed hope for government assistance, emphasizing its potential significant impact on realizing their daughter’s dream.
