Fulbari, 22nd May: 23-year-old Prasenjit Sarkar, a resident of Panchkolguri under Fulbari Gram Panchayat No. 1, has mysteriously gone missing for two days. His family has sought assistance from the police in this matter.
According to family sources, Prasenjit, employed at a local pharmacy, returned home for lunch on Saturday afternoon. Around 6 p.m., he left for work on his bicycle but failed to return home by nightfall. Concerned, his family members reached out to his friends and relatives, but no information could be obtained about his whereabouts.
Yesterday evening, Prasenjit’s bicycle and umbrella were found in the Kanchanbari area of Fulbari. Today, accompanied by his elder brother, the family revisited Kanchanbari and the adjacent Teesta Canal area in hopes of finding him. Meanwhile, a missing person report was lodged at the New Jalpaiguri police station on Sunday.
