Bagdogra, 12th March: A team of Bagdogra Circle Excise Department, acting on a tip-off, recovered the spirit used to make spurious liquor. The operation was conducted in a house in Gosaipur near College Para of Bagdogra. However, on getting information about the arrival of the department personnel, the people of the house managed to flee away.
Meanwhile, 25 liters of adulterated liquor have been recovered from the spot. In this regard, OC Subhash Halder of Bagdogra Circle of Excise Department said that such a campaign will be launched in the coming days as well.
