Siliguri, 23rd September: On Monday, an event was organized at Siliguri Boys High School for the students of ‘Alor Dishari’ Coaching Center, initiated by the Siliguri Municipal Corporation. The event was attended by Mayor Gautam Deb along with other dignitaries.
The ‘Alor Dishari’ Coaching Center was established to spread the light of education among underprivileged students in Siliguri. Initially, the center commenced with students of the ninth and tenth classes. Later, it expanded to include eleventh-standard students as well.
During the event, the students honoured the Mayor with handmade cards. The Mayor also joined the event with a song and engaged in educational discussions with the students on various topics.
